FOX 32 Float SC Factory 29" suspension fork
The label " Factory " says it all. The best technologies are available in the Factory Series models, including the ultra-durable original Kashima Coat surface treatment, which ensures a smooth fork operation. Race organizers are preparing increasingly difficult and technically demanding tracks, which pushes the limits of durability of lightweight components, FOX has improved the 32 Step-Cast fork to meet the current needs of racers. The redesigned crown with a minimal increase in weight increases stiffness to the same level as the FOX 34 trail fork.Technologies:
STEP-CAST (SC) - The distinctive shape of the outer lower legs is not just for looks, they use a narrow shape to reduce weight and the construction creates additional space for the spokes and brake disc. The FOX 32 SC features 32mm inner legs and enough casing overlap for a quality ride and the hollow lower legs provide even more weight savings.FIT4 – Already the fourth generation of the patented FIT closed cartridge allows adjustment of the compression on the crown in three positions (Open, Medium, Closed) while riding for the best adaptation of the damping to the driving conditions (with remote control it offers only two positions: Open-Close). The top-of-the-line Factory Series forks also have the option of fine-tuning the open position (within a range of 22 cranks) so that each rider can adjust the compression according to their own preferences.
FLOAT (FOX Load Optimum Air Technology) - the air suspension for all FOX FLOAT forks from 100 to 200 mm of travel is enhanced with a specific air piston with a more linear resistance/compression force curve as similar as possible to that of a steel spring. Forks of the 32, 34, 36 and 40 series equipped with the new FLOAT system with reduced weight and reduced force required to break the fork from its rest position. They thus provide excellent sensitivity of reactions to small bumps for all riders and pressure settings.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS - The progressiveness of the compression can be additionally fine-tuned with the help of delimiting inserts in the positive air chamber, with which each rider can fine-tune the suspension according to their own requirements and driving preferences.
EVOL (EXTRA VOLUME) - An enlarged negative air chamber significantly improves the response of the fork. This increases comfort as the breakaway moment can be reduced. In addition, the more linear characteristic of the spring offers better performance, especially in the middle of the stroke.
KASHIMA COAT – The revolutionary inner leg coating technology by electrically adding molybdenum disulfide to the micropores is used exclusively on FOX Factory Series forks and shocks. The brown-gold surface of the legs reduces mechanical friction by up to 40% compared to conventional hard anodizing. It gives the fork buttery smooth operation and is much more resistant to mechanical damage.
KABOLT – Fixed axle without a lever for a 15 mm hex key, increasing the overall stiffness of the fork by up to 25% and torsional stiffness by 15% at a significantly lower weight compared to the FOX QR15 quick-release axle.

Dobry den. Mam bike Merida Big Nine karbon, ktory ma vidlicu Rockshox Reba. Kedze si tento bike planujem nechat tak si na nom chcem urobit nejaky upgrade a jedno z toho je vidlica. Chcem sa spytat ci to bude cititelny rozdiel od Reby, samozrejme by mal byt lepsi chod ale ma tiez dost zaujima ci tato vidla ked bude uzamknuta bude tvrdsia resp. ci bude mat mensiu volu ako Reba. Este zvazujem aj Rockshox SID Ultimate, ktoru z nich by ste doporucili? Dakujem

zalezi to samozrejme aj od verzie Reby aku mate. Kazdopadne ano, urcite to bude posun vpred, jedna sa v podstate o to najlepsie co sa da medzi standardnymi vyrobcami odpruzenia dostat. Uzamykanie vidlice poskytne vacsiu oporu pri dlhsich stupaniach, prip. asfaltovych presunoch, kedy nebude dochadzat ku strate energie pohupovanim vidlice. Dalsou devizou je samozrejme hmotnost - pri tejto vidlici je pod hranicou 1500 gramov.

prosím Vás ako je to s veľkosťou kotúčov ? Keď chcem použiť 160 mm alebo 180 mm tak pôvodné závity sú určené na 160 mm a v prípade použitia 180 mm sa používa adaptér ? Ináč sa vidlice nerozdeľujú podľa toho aký veľký kotúč vpredu budem mať ?

ano, vidlica je urcena pre priamu montaz 160 mm kotucov, ak mate zaujem pouzit vacsi rozmer tak je potrebne pod strmen umiestnit prislusny PM-PM adapter.
Vidlica sa predava len s jednym typom uchytenia brzdoveho strmena.
