The label "Factory" says it all. The best technologies we have to offer are available in our Factory Series models, including our ultra-durable original Kashima Coat for a buttery ride. The newly improved and evolutionarily refined FOX Float shock line is designed to achieve the optimal balance between low weight and the best trail performance. Therefore, it offers high support during transitions and on climbs, as well as more than adequate grip, a wide range of settings needed on technical trails and aggressive riding in general - so that the FOX Float shock achieves similar efficiency uphill as the Float SL, while on descents it performs just as well as its more robust sibling, the Fox Float X, with which it shares the oil damping architecture. The new FOX Float tries to squeeze the most out of the classic "in-line" layout, resulting in a weight up to 150 g lower than the Float X version (with expansion). In addition, its "straight" (in-line) design also means saving space inside the frame (more room for a water bottle, tools, etc.). An interesting and different element compared to the Float SL series is the switching of only two modes (Open/Firm) with the possibility of additional fine-tuning of compression damping. However, with FOX Float shocks, the fine tuning is focused on the "Firm" position, not the "Open" position as with the Float SL.|
