FOX Float Factory shock
The "Factory" designation says it all. The best technologies we can offer are available in our Factory Series models, including our ultra-durable genuine Kashima Coat finish for buttery smooth performance.The newly improved and evolutionarily refined FOX Float shock lineup is designed to achieve the optimal balance between low weight and the best trail performance. Therefore, it offers high support during transfers and climbs, as well as more than adequate grip, a wide range of adjustments needed for technically demanding trails and aggressive riding in general - meaning the FOX Float shock achieves similar efficiency uphill as the Float SL, while performing just as well downhill as its more robust sibling Fox Float X, with which it shares its damping oil architecture. The new FOX Float aims to get the most out of the classic "in-line" layout, resulting in a weight of up to 150g less than the Float X version (with reservoir). Furthermore, its "straight" (in-line) design also saves space inside the frame (more space for a water bottle, tools, etc.). An interesting and differentiating feature compared to the Float SL series is the switching between only two modes (Open/Firm) with the possibility of additional fine-tuning of the compression damping. However, with FOX Float shocks, the fine-tuning is focused on the "Firm" position, not on "Open" as in the case of the Float SL.Product features
