FOX GRIP X2 damping cartridge (2027)
The complete original FOX GRIP X2 racing cartridge for the 2027 model year advances the tuning and performance capabilities of suspension forks for enduro and gravity riding. It is based on technologies used on World Cup tracks and delivers extreme levels of control, traction and stability on steep sections, even under heavy braking. The service set is supplied as a fully assembled, filled and bled unit ready for direct installation into the right fork leg.
A larger piston diameter and redesigned valve architecture allow for full four-way independent damping adjustment for both high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound. The fork thus remains high in its stroke, does not sink under braking, and at the same time copies micro-bumps butterily smoothly, which increases front wheel grip and reduces hand fatigue on long descents. The cartridge is constructed from aluminum alloy with premium sealing elements for high rigidity and reliable operation even in demanding conditions.
When replacing the cartridge, it is recommended to drain the old lubricating oil from the lower fork legs, clean them thoroughly and add fresh oil according to the original FOX lubrication chart. The service set is sized for a specific model series and fork stroke, so it is necessary to verify compatibility using the 4-digit ID code before purchasing. Assembly requires specific tools and technical experience; unprofessional intervention can damage the fork or the cartridge itself.
