Ergon brings BT OrthoCell® technology from medicine and its high-end saddles directly to the handlebars, turning drop bars into a comfort zone. The core of the wrap is high-tech orthopedic foam OrthoCell® made in Europe. With a thickness of 3 mm, it effectively dampens micro-vibrations and strong impacts from broken roads, gravel or transitions between surfaces.
Compared to classic cork or gel wraps, it provides a better ratio of cushioning and stability, ensuring precise and confident steering without a "spongy" feel. Even pressure distribution helps reduce finger tingling and palm pain during long rides, leading to less forearm fatigue and greater confidence in technical passages. The OrthoCell® material holds its shape, has a high ability to return to its original form, and resists compression for a long time, ensuring that ergonomics are maintained even after thousands of kilometers.
The surface texture ensures maximum grip without the need to grip the handlebars tightly. The extra length of 2,500 mm provides enough material for wider gravel or all-road handlebars with a significant flare, allowing for greater overlap and perfect coverage even for oversized handlebars.
