For 2011, the base of the Drake turnbuckle has been completely redesigned to achieve lower weight while maintaining maximum strength. Another novelty of the tensioner is its lower guide with a pulley in a plastic cover. The cage of the lower guide is self-cleaning, which guarantees smoother operation than other pulleys. Another improvement for this year is the ability to adjust the entire tensioner with just one Allen key. All polycarbonate parts are available separately.
