SRAM product developers have redesigned road shifting: they have reduced the size of the front sprocket and added a larger rear cassette range. This innovative design is called X-Range gearing technology. They also retained the 13-tooth differential on all gear pairs, ensuring precise shifting at any setting. The result is more useful range and better shifting in all configurations.
