A completely new cassette from the Deore XT series bearing the designation CS-M8100 with 12 pinions in the range of 10-45 teeth, offers, thanks to Hyperglide+ technology, 30% faster and smoother shifting. The basis of the construction of the Shimano Deore XT M8100 cassette is a light and strong carrier made of aluminium alloy and pinions made of steel and aluminium alloy. Thanks to the design and choice of material, the weight of this cartridge was only 461 g or 470 g.
