For Safe Riding
- While riding, always pay attention to the surroundings and do not watch the cycle computer display for extended periods. Otherwise you may have an accident.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely mounted to the bicycle. If the wheels are not securely mounted, the bicycle may topple over and a serious accident may result.
- When riding an electrically assisted bicycle, be sure to fully familiarize yourself with the bicycle's starting characteristics before riding in traffic or pedestrian areas. If the bicycle starts suddenly, this may lead to an accident.

Safely Using the Product
- Remove the battery and charging cable before carrying out wiring work or mounting parts to the bicycle. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
- Do not move the bicycle while charging the battery that is installed on the bicycle. The battery charger's AC plug may become loose and may not be fully plugged into the electrical outlet, posing a risk of fire.

- Clean the chain regularly with an appropriate chain cleaner. The frequency of maintenance will vary depending on riding conditions.
- Never use alkaline or acidic agents such as rust removers. Using these agents may result in damage to the chain and lead to serious injury.
- Be sure to follow the instructions in the user's manual when installing this product. In addition, it is recommended that only genuine SHIMANO parts are used. If bolts and nuts are left loose or if the product becomes damaged, the bicycle may suddenly topple over and a serious accident may result.
Handling the Battery
- If fluid leaking from the battery gets into your eyes, immediately flush the affected area thoroughly with clean water (tap water) without rubbing your eyes, and seek medical attention immediately. If this is not done, the fluid from the battery may harm your eyes.
- Do not charge the battery in places with high humidity or outdoors. Otherwise, electric shock may result.
- Do not plug in or unplug the plug with wet hands. Failure to observe this may result in electric shock. If water is leaking from the plug, thoroughly dry it before plugging it in.
- If the battery is not fully charged even after 2 hours of the specified charging time has elapsed, immediately disconnect the battery from the outlet and contact the place of purchase. Otherwise, it may overheat, rupture, or ignite. Refer to the user's manual for the battery charger for the appropriate battery charging time.
