- While riding, always pay attention to the surroundings so that you can avoid accidents. Do not stare at the cycle computer display for too long. Otherwise, you may have an accident.
- Before riding a bicycle, make sure that the front and rear lights can be turned on.

- Remove the battery and charging cable before carrying out any work on the bicycle. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
- Be sure to follow the instructions in the manuals when installing the product. We recommend using genuine SHIMANO parts only. If screws and nuts become loose or damaged, the bicycle may suddenly topple over, which may result in serious injury.
- Do not leave this product in an extremely high-temperature environment, such as in a closed vehicle on a hot day or near a heater. This may lead to explosion of the built-in battery, or leakage of flammable liquid or gas from it.
- Do not subject this product to extremely low air pressure. This could cause the built-in battery to explode, or flammable liquid or gas to leak from it. Air transport of this product is not a problem.

- When disposing of this product, be sure to follow all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, as it contains a battery. Disposal of this product into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it, may result in explosion of the built-in battery.
