The ROTWILD brand is synonymous with top performance, innovation, and German technical precision in the field of bicycles, especially mountain and e-MTB models. It was founded in 1996 as a project of ADP Engineering GmbH based in Dieburg, Germany. From the beginning, ROTWILD has focused on developing top-notch frames and components for demanding riding conditions – including downhill, enduro, trail and gravel. The brand’s history includes significant technical milestones, such as one of the first aluminium full-suspension frames, disc brakes, carbon components, electronic shifting, and later the development of its own e-MTB drive systems. ROTWILD collaborated with companies such as Brose in the development of engines and became known as an innovator in the field of battery integration into the frame and balanced riding performance.
