Altitude Eyewear is a French brand of sunglasses created in 2013 by specialists in the design and manufacture of sports eyewear. The company is based in Prémanon, (Les Rousses resort) in the heart of the Haut Jura regional park, which also happens to be the historic centre of French eyewear. Passionate about climbing, ski mountaineering, paragliding, running and mountain biking, the company's founders have given this new brand a resolutely outdoor feel, and have named it Altitude in homage to the mountains they love. The product ranges cover a wide range of sporting uses, with each model designed to meet the most varied requirements in the mountains, at sea or on the plains.
