Superior XR 9.9 GR 28 Bike

A top-tier gravel bike designed for maximum performance, speed, and control on both asphalt and gravel roads. The extremely lightweight XR Race High Modulus carbon frame combines racing efficiency with a geometry that allows for aggressive pacing and long hours in the saddle without losing stability. SRAM RED XPLR AXS wireless shifting, DT Swiss GRC carbon wheels, and an integrated carbon cockpit create an uncompromising package for the most demanding gravel riders.

The high-modulus XR Race carbon frame is optimized for low weight, high stiffness, and precise handling. The race gravel geometry supports nimble acceleration, confidence at high speeds, and stability on long routes. DT Swiss GRC 1400 DICUT carbon wheels are specifically developed for fast gravel, offering high lateral stiffness, smooth rolling, and excellent control under maximum effort. The one-piece carbon cockpit with internal cable routing increases steering stiffness and precision, while the carbon seatpost effectively dampens vibrations and enhances comfort on long rides.

Each Superior bicycle model has a specific geometry and size chart, which can be found on the manufacturer's website for the given model.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
