Cannondale Synapse Hi-Mod Disc Red Etap is a road bike with a light carbon frame. Thanks to the special processing of carbon and the shaping of the tubes, the frame is rigid, but at the same time comfortable. It is helped by several technologies developed directly by Cannondale. One of them is the Ballistec Hi-Mod carbon precision processing system. It uses a sophisticated mix of long and ultra-long modulus fibers to create a rigid mesh that can reduce the overall weight of the entire frame to a minimum. The hi-mod fibers also deliver a livelier ride with better response and a better feel for the driving surface, so riding on the edge is under more control. The result is an extremely light, rigid and yet durable frame. Another technology that focuses mainly on rider comfort is SPEED SAVE PLUS. It works primarily through the balance between the rear frame triangle and the fork. The main idea is that the tubes on the rear frame triangle are able to bend vertically and thus absorb shocks. The carbon layering is designed so that the fibers are oriented in such a way that they absorb the vibrations in their layers and dissipate them before they are directed towards the rider. In this combination, the frame is sufficiently rigid in the lateral direction, but at the same time it provides the rider with sufficient comfort even during long rides and thus delays fatigue. The second part of the system focuses on rider comfort. The seat tube has a directionally optimized weave of carbon layers that allows it to flex slightly forwards and backwards. Here, vibrations and shocks are dissipated and muscle micro-traumas that reduce energy during long days in the saddle are reduced.
The connection of the function of the components and the frame is ensured by System Integration. The essence of the System Integration philosophy is that the key components of the wheel are optimized to work with the frame and together. The result is then a better performance of the whole bike. The Cannondale company does not want to limit itself when creating a frame by accepting common standards and creates the frame and components as one package. Cannondale Synapse Hi-Mod Disc Red Etap is equipped with quality SRAM Red Etap components with 2x11 speeds. It is a set of road electronic shift components using the revolutionary technology of wireless transmission encrypted using the AIRE protocol. A pair of Sram RED hydraulic disc brakes will give you confidence on the descents, which will support you even on long mountain descents and retain their braking effect even in adverse weather conditions. Fast acceleration will be supported by Cannondale HollowGram Carbon Clincher Disc carbon rims, intertwined with lightweight Cannondale HollowGram Disc hubs with high-quality industrial bearings. These wheels stand out due to their low weight, stiffness, and at the same time comfort when driving on broken roads. You can also rely on Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x28c tires, which excel in universal use. Cannondale Synapse Hi-Mod Disc Red Etap made for big rides and long days in the saddle. Its geometry for all-day rides offers wide possibilities of use and full racing performance. All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
