Cannondale Trail 7 29 bike

The Cannondale Trail 7 is a bike suitable for recreational riders who want to make the most of their free time. With a comfortable and fun geometry, this bike offers very high stiffness and handling. This is not only due to the technologically advanced production of the SmartForm Premium frame with SAVE flexible zones, but also to the shortened rear end and a smaller head tube angle.

SmartForm Premium - this is Cannondale's most advanced technology in the field of aluminum alloy processing. Simply put, it is a combination of removing excess material with advanced optimization of the shape of the tubes.
For maximum adaptation to the height parameters of cyclists, the bike is supplied in sizes XS-S on 27.5" wheels and for sizes M-XL on standard 29" wheels.

The front suspension is provided by an SR Suntour XCT spring fork with crown lockout. Gear shifting is handled by a Shimano Acera/Altus 2x9-speed drivetrain. Shimano MT 200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160/160 millimeter rotors provide precise and sure braking power, and the high-quality WTB SX19 aluminum rims feature Schwalbe Rocket Rick tires in K-Guard design. The wide aluminum handlebars help with handling, and the Cannondale saddle ensures comfort.

The Cannondale Trail 7 29 is a well-equipped bike in terms of price/performance, on a very high-quality aluminum frame.

Level and quality of equipment

Light and occassional rides

Suitable not only for commuting, but also for weekend trips outside the city. You can ride on cycle paths, unpaved roads and in easy terrain. If you ride more demanding terrain or more frequently, you will need to fine-tune more often.

Aluminium frame

Lighter, relatively durable and stiff material that is affordable. The most widespread material for the production of bicycle frames.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.

Coil fork

Provides adequate comfort and is usually installed on bicycles for recreational and less demanding riding. The disadvantage is its relatively heavy weight.

29” wheels

The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
