Racing hardtail with F-SI Ballistec Carbon frame, brand new Lefty Ocho fork, Stans NoTubes aluminum braided wheels and SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed.
Fast races, brisk training, but also a relaxing walk along popular forest paths and trails. The Cannondale F-SI Carbon 3 will keep up with you wherever you decide to go and whatever you do. Thanks to modern technologies and brilliantly designed geometry, it flies through the tracks at a speed you never dreamed of before. Behind the handlebars of this machine, no climb is too long and no descent is too steep. Just you, your bike and opponents disappearing behind you. The F-SI Ballistec Carbon carbon frame is incredibly stiff and at the same time very light, and in combination with the brand new Lefty Ocho front fork, it can handle much more off-road than you would expect from a racing hardtail of this category. Thanks to the geometry with a short rear structure, a more relaxed head angle and a large offset of the fork axis, nothing will stop you on the racing tracks. The frame and fork sit on lightweight braided wheels with Stans NoTubes Crest wide aluminum rims. Precise shifting is ensured by Sram GX Eagle components with 1x12 speeds.
FRAME
The F-SI Ballistec Carbon carbon frame is made of light and at the same time very strong carbon fibers, which allow you to tune the overall driving characteristics down to the smallest details. Compared to its predecessor, it is a full 80 grams lighter, and with a total weight of 900 grams, it is the lightest frame Cannondale has ever produced. Extreme rigidity while maintaining only very low weight and maximum driving comfort, that's what it's all about! The key point of the entire frame is the rear structure with the so-called asymmetrical integration of the drive. Thanks to the displacement of the drive system by six millimeters to the right, the rear structure has been significantly shortened, and thus also a significant improvement in the bike's handling both on and off-road. At the same time, this solution made it possible to maintain sufficient passability for the use of wide casings and sets with two converters. Shifting the drivetrain made it possible to create a more uniform rear string for even more stiffness when sprinting and cornering.
Sufficient comfort is guaranteed by the elaborate Save Micro Suspension system, which uses directionally optimized carbon fiber weaving and enables controlled sagittal movement of the seat tube of the frame. The seat tube and with it the entire rear frame triangle work in a vertical direction and effectively dampen vibrations and other small impacts. The result is not only better traction and higher speed, but above all a noticeable reduction in rider fatigue even on really long tracks. A new feature is the Speed Release axle for faster and easier rear wheel replacement. The special shape of the feet makes it possible to leave the axle in the hub and remove the wheel just as easily as in the case of a classic quick release. The Speed Release axle is compatible with 148x12 mm cartridges.
FORK
The frame is completed by the brand new Cannondale Lefty Ocho front fork, which stands out for its stiffness, low weight and precise driving performance in all circumstances. All this while maintaining uncompromising steering precision, which is unparalleled in the category of cross-country forks. With a lift of 100 mm and the possibility of remote locking, it will serve great not only on racing circuits, but also on your favorite trails or anywhere else. The pronounced forward offset of the fork axis together with the lower head angle creates the so-called OutFront geometry, which provides enough stability on descents and which does not lose any of its famous agility on climbs.
GEOMETRY
The geometry of the new F-SI is defined by a very short rear structure, a significantly offset front fork axis and, last but not least, a noticeably lower head angle. Such geometry will provide enough stability even on the most demanding descents, it will surprise you with perfect traction in all aspects on exits, and at the same time it will not lack playfulness and agility that will put a smile on your face in the terrain. Extending the reach and stack values contributes to greater comfort behind the handlebars.
DIAMETER OF WHEELS ACCORDING TO BODY
Cannondale equips its bikes with rims of different diameters so that all riders feel good behind the handlebars, regardless of body proportions and height. Therefore, in XS size frames we find braided wheels with a diameter of 27.5". Frames of larger sizes are then usually equipped with braided wheels with a diameter of 29".
EQUIPMENT
The carbon frame and front suspension fork are complemented by aluminum braided wheels with Stans NoTubes Crest MK3 rims and Stans NoTubes Neo hubs. On the rims, we find Schwalbe Racing Ray and Racing Ralph tires in the version with the soft Addix Speedgrip Compound. A 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle set with a cassette with a range of 10-50 teeth guarantees a sufficient range of gears. Truvativ Stylo aluminum cranks with one gear and 34 teeth also come from the Sram range. Braking power is managed by SRAM Level T hydraulic discs with Centerline discs with a diameter of 160 millimeters on the front and rear wheels. Maneuverability is aided by Cannondale's wide handlebars, and comfort is guaranteed by the Fabric Scoop saddle with steel rails.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bicycle for in store pickup or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
