Ghost Lector Universal 29 bicycle

This isn't a skinny race bike for slick trails, this is a modern XC special with muscle, ready to deliver results in tough terrain at maximum load. The readiness of this bike for any XC challenge is also reflected in the appearance and can also be seen in the choice of components. The most interesting element of the third generation of the Lector frame is the rear structure, which is designed to absorb vibrations as best as possible. You also know the development of frames using the SUPERFIT® algorithm from other GHOST models. Thanks to it, the bike in all sizes can be tailored to the rider. Another original and practical solution is cabling. It is perfectly hidden under the protective covers of the lower frame tube and the rear structure. At the same time, it is easily accessible, so there is no time-consuming routing of cabling through the frame. The joy of riding, the latest trends and advanced technologies - this is a modern hardtail with everything that goes with it.

Carbon frame

Lightweight, stiff and at the same time still flexible material that absorbs shocks well and increases comfort. A higher price is to be expected.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.

Air fork

The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.

29” wheels

The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
