Universal cross bike, light aluminum frame, front suspension fork, 3x9 speeds, disc brakes.

GT Transeo 2.0 is a universal cross-country/trekking bike designed for paved and unpaved roads. The front suspension fork perfectly smooths out any road and thus the ride becomes very comfortable. The drive is ensured by high-quality Shimano components in combination with 3x9 speed. With these gears you can handle any hill. Hydraulic disc brakes take care of safe driving from the hill. All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

This Californian brand has been designing and manufacturing bikes since 1972. They are one of the pioneers in the MTB discipline. Their framesets are easily recognisable thanks to their strict policy of three frameset triangles. GT's offer focuses essentially on bikes for unconsolidated terrain, which was their speciality from the start.
