Vždy som si doma vystačil s bežnými sťahovákmi voľnobežiek (používam sadu sťahovákov už cca. 15 rokov). Všetko sa zmenilo, keď som kúpil dcére nový bicykel. Nevedel som dlhú dobu zohnať správny sťahovák voľnobežky - bežné sťahováky sa nedali vložiť do voľnobežky kvôli príliš veľkým maticiam na ložisku náboja kolesa. Matice samozrejme nešli povoliť, pretože boli zakryté voľnobežkou. Povolil som matice na druhej strane náboja v domienke, že vyberiem celú osku kolesa a tak uvoľním priestor na vloženie sťahováku. Ale nestalo sa tak, oska je zalisovaná v ložiskách kolesa a nejde vybrať bez použitia hrubej sily. Jediná cesta ako zdemontovať voľnobežku bola kúpiť podľa všeobecného dielenského návodu výrobcu tento konkrétny sťahovák, ktorý ma tenšie steny ako bežné sťahováky a preto ide nasadiť do voľnobežky aj napriek väčším maticiam ložiska náboja kolesa.
