Shimano Premium grease

After purchasing various Shimano components that have a spring or other part exposed to friction, we still have the opportunity to meet a store greeting from this Japanese manufacturer in the form of a yellow-green gooey product, which is literally a blessing for our components. When I unpacked all the Shimano gear boxes that passed through my hands, I still found time to enjoy this Vaseline, aesthetically applied by a pastry chef. I even felt sorry that I had to spread it on the appropriate places. But we are talking about Vaseline, not about a snack.
I was very happy when I learned about its availability for us consumers. I immediately ordered the larger 100 gram package and couldn't wait for my old Force Vaseline to run out, which was more of the classic type, especially in terms of aroma. In contrast, this yellow-green goodness is much less intrusive in terms of smell, it doesn't irritate at all, even when in contact with it. It spreads and applies easily. A very important thing, again compared to Force, its aroma and greasiness don't stay on your hands longer than necessary. If you wash your hands thoroughly, it disappears completely without a trace right after the first wash.
Simply an excellent product that I can only recommend. A must-have for any serious bike mechanic. I don't plan on using any other grease. Except for specialized ones, for example for forks. This grease is definitely not suitable for that.

First impressions a month after first using Shimano Premium Grease are positive, the grease has the optimal consistency for my old tapered Shimano hubs. It does not flow or increase the rolling resistance of the bearing excessively. It is easy to apply with a syringe and spread with a small brush on the hub shell. Resistance to water washing, protection against corrosion and dust absorption - this will take at least a year to assess. So far, satisfied.
One minus - 50g is too small a package with a high price.

Very good vaseline of green color, which was probably also applied to my new gravel. That's why I also used it when cleaning the central composition. I recommend. Excellent application but rather small package. I will definitely get a bigger pack in the future.

The 100 ml package (tube) dispenses well, as it has a narrow tip, no extra applicator is needed. In cold weather, however, it has a noticeably thicker consistency, which makes it a little harder to squeeze out. But otherwise Vaseline is excellent, I recommend it.

She's as pretty as frog slime.
Its viscosity makes it suitable for bullets or other places where bullets move quickly. I would probably put something thicker in the head/center so that water doesn't get in there.
It is of good quality, does not form an emulsion

dobrá na konusy aj kluky a stredy... hlavne dobrá na doplenenie shimano ložísk lebo tam už je od novoty a človek nemieša dve vazeliny, čo môže byť dobrá paseka.

Odporúčam predovšetkým väčšie balenie pretože je balené v tube a s tým sa lepšie pracuje.
Teda len podľa foto len predpokladám že menšie balenie nieje v tube

Praktické balení 100g v tubě se špičkou, díky které se vazelína nanáší přesně. Ruce zůstávají čisté. Vazelínu využívám pouze na ložiska.

Originál zelená vzelína, ktorú nájdete všade na nových komponentoch Shimano. Použil som aj do ložísk. Funguje, maže, odoláva vode...

This fat for the brain is phenomenal! The cone bearing rotates so well that the wheel itself rotates for 2 minutes. It's worth the price.

The 100g tube is well applied thanks to the narrow neck, but perhaps a larger package with a similar cap would be nice. Excellent vaseline

Expensive but perfect for hubs. The wheels spin like a perpetual motion machine. I put thicker grease on the head assembly.?

I definitely recommend Super Vaseline, especially for bearings. Good thing I bought 100g because it gets used up quickly.
