Muc-Off Dark Energy Chain Wax is a high-performance chain wax designed for maximum efficiency, low friction, and minimal drivetrain wear. It combines long life, clean running, and exceptionally quiet operation in a single drop, making it ideal for racers, performance riders, and hobby cyclists alike. A specially developed blend of advanced waxes creates a durable dry film barrier that performs reliably in dry, dusty, and wet conditions, reducing the need for frequent maintenance.The formulation is the result of four years of intensive development and testing in the lab and in real-world conditions over thousands of kilometers. It contains plant-based, naturally biodegradable wax, combining high performance with environmental consideration. The wax is suitable for road, gravel, and mountain bikes, and thanks to its extremely low wear rate, it helps extend the life of the chain and other drivetrain components.

| Instructions for use | 1) Thoroughly clean and dry the drivetrain, remove original lubricant from a new chain. 2) Shake the bottle before use. 3) Apply one drop of wax to the inside of each chain link at the lowest point, cycle the chain twice. 4) Shift through all gears to cover the entire cassette. 5) Allow to dry for at least 12 hours, ideally 24 hours in a cooler environment. 6) When dry, after increased chain noise, wipe the chain and reapply wax; after riding in wet conditions, immediately clean and re-lubricate the chain. 7) Store in a cool, dry place at 5–30 °C, protect from frost. 8) Use only according to these instructions in dry to damp conditions. |
