Muc-Off Ceramic Coating is a highly advanced, durable, silicon-infused coating that chemically bonds to the paintwork to create a highly effective hydrophobic layer that repels water and dirt. It is designed to keep your motorcycle/bike clean for longer and much easier to keep clean. The surface treatment significantly reduces surface tension, providing long-term, year-round protection for your pride and joy even in the most challenging weather conditions. It also contains UV protection, which helps ensure your paintwork doesn't fade in direct sunlight and can help reduce the risk of micro-scratches.

It is safe to use on paint, carbon fiber, metal components, wheels, vinyl and hard plastic trim, and its protection lasts up to 2 years because it is resistant to chemicals. You can use it on glossy or matte surfaces (once cured, it will give matte surfaces a richer, darker color tone).

What's included in the package:

Manual:

SURFACE PREPARATION:
1. Wash the bike/motorcycle thoroughly with Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder or Snow Foam and make sure it is completely dry before starting the coating process.
2. Depending on the condition of the paint or surface, perform the appropriate level of paint correction to remove all defects including swirl marks, water spots and scratches. Keep in mind that this product is very durable and will seal all imperfections.
3. Remove any excess paint correction or wax/polish residue by wiping all painted surfaces with a surface preparation spray. Simply spray on a microfiber cloth and wipe.

APPLICATION OF CERAMIC COATING:
1. We recommend applying the paint in a cool, dry, clean area, indoors with good lighting and ventilation. For non-factory finishes, test a small, inconspicuous area before applying full coverage.
2. Shake the bottle thoroughly for 10 seconds to activate the formula.
3. We recommend using protective gloves when applying the paint.
4. Unscrew the child-resistant cap and then apply the paint gently and evenly using the included microfibre application pad. (A small amount of paint is very effective).
5. Start at the highest areas, apply crosswise in a # shape, overlapping to ensure coverage of all areas. We recommend limiting application areas to approximately the size of 1 bike tube/panel at a time. Relax and take your time, apply slowly and carefully for best results.
6. If the paint is not applied evenly or the applicator does not glide smoothly over the surface, add additional paint to the application pad.
7. Allow the wet paint to cure for 5 minutes. During this time, the painted surface will take on an iridescent appearance. During this time, check to see if you have covered all areas. Using the included microfiber cloth, lightly polish the surface in small circular motions to a high shine and mirror-like film. Be sure to check the surface at multiple lighting angles to ensure that all rainbow effects have been removed. Do not let the wet paint cure for more than 5 minutes and make sure it has been completely polished.
8. After polishing, allow the coating to fully cure for 24 hours in a cool, dry place before exposing it to water or weather. (For best results and adhesion, we recommend not washing for at least 48 hours after application).
9. You can easily layer the coating with a second application for even longer durability, just follow the instructions above for applying the load after the first layer has fully cured. No need to re-prepare.
10. Once opened, consume within 6 months.

MAINTENANCE/CLEANING:
1. To properly maintain the ceramic coating, we recommend cleaning only with our Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder or Snow Foam. Avoid using other solvents or acidic cleaners as they will break down the coating much faster.
2. Keeping the surface clean will ensure that the hydrophobic properties of the coating are maintained.
3. If you notice that the surface begins to lose some of its hydrophobic, water-repellent properties over time, you can simply top up and renew the coating. To maintain optimal performance, we recommend re-coating every 6 months.
