The traditional limited edition Merci PouPou, which comes to life every year during the Tour de France, is this time inspired by the retro design of Gan Mercier Hutchinson. The jersey is made in a classic cut from our proven Spinn material, which is characterized by high elasticity and excellent sweat wicking. The elastic sleeves adapt perfectly to the shape of the body and give the jersey a modern and elegant look.
We, together with the Alpecin-Deceuninck team, will donate the proceeds from the sale of this limited edition to charitable projects. We support children and young people from diverse backgrounds who play sports, stay active, or are trying to re-engage in everyday life.
The second day off at the Tour de France is being carried out in traditional retro style by the Alpecin-Deceuninck team. As in previous years, this year the Belgian team's riders wore iconic seventies-inspired jerseys - this time in another stylish design by Gan Mercier Hutchinson, once ridden by Raymond Poulidor, Mathieu van der Poel's grandfather.
- Extended sleeves with hidden elastic cuffs reduce air resistance. When trying it for the first time, you need to stretch the tape wide to adapt it to the shape of your arm. You don't have to worry about the end cracking, the tape is very strong.
- The covered long zipper allows for seamless temperature regulation.
- The bottom edge of the jersey is finished with rubber with a silicone strip to prevent shifting.
- The jersey includes a lightweight waterproof pocket for your phone, keys or money, which can be attached to a carabiner inside the pocket, protecting your valuables from loss or getting wet.
- Heavy-duty, polyester knit developed for highly functional sportswear. It is a two-layer construction of lightweight knitwear, where the reverse side is made of special microfibers that effectively wick sweat to the top layer. Even with greater exertion, sweat drainage is ensured, guaranteeing the satisfaction of every athlete. Products made from this knitwear are very airy and comfortable to wear.
