Castelli Gavia jacket
A mid-weight GORE-TEX® jacket for all-day riding in the rain, with a looser cut to fit thicker layers of clothing. This is serious gear for the wettest and worst days on the bike, when most of us would stay at home.This jacket is made for those days when you like to sacrifice speed and light weight for the most effective barrier against rain and cold. If you've never had this type of jacket, then you've never experienced that feeling of going for a ride just because you have to and then enjoying one of the most epic days ever.
A heavier weight GORE-TEX® was used to achieve greater durability. It has a looser cut, but not so loose that it flutters in the wind. This is thanks to the elastic panels on the shoulders so that you can still ride in an aggressive position. The same stretch panels are added around the wrist so you can put it on and take it off even when wearing Diluvio gloves. And if you really need to fill your pockets, there are stretch panels on the sides to make it easier.
Even though this is an extreme jacket, it's still small enough to fit in a jersey pocket - or probably in a backpack, because this jacket is a must-have for your next multi-day adventure.
