A jacket that is extremely warm and at the same time extra compact, ideal for discovery trips or trips of several days. Outer woven, windproof microfiber material combined with Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation. When the challenge is more distance than speed, this jacket delivers warmth and comfort with a style that looks good on the bike or at a snack stop.Lately we have been doing more and more long adventure rides. Sometimes this means a route with a large elevation gain, or a ride that alternates between the cold of night and the heat of the day, or a multi-day stay on the bike. This jacket shines in these situations as it provides plenty of insulation and warmth when you need it, but can also fit in a pocket under the seat when you don't.
The outer layer is made of a fabric that you might have seen on some high-end down jackets from reputable brands. It is very light, but at the same time it keeps the wind away from the body. On the inside is Polartec® Alpha® Direct, the lightest, most durable and best moisture wicking insulation on the market. Warm, like synthetic down, but does not require an inner lining, which would reduce breathability and increase weight.
