This model represents a basic layer for extreme conditions. Wind, cold, frost, or light rain don't stand a chance. This double-layer T-shirt can keep your body warm in all conditions. Two-layer construction, in which the main role of the inner layer is to quickly remove excess moisture from the body to the second layer, where it evaporates. The outer layer is made of 10% polyamide, which increases its durability. In addition, both layers provide excellent insulation. The Expedition model is very popular for its great thermal comfort and maximum freedom of movement. Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.

Objednané oblečenie splnilo moje očakávanie, bol to darček a milo ma prekvapilo, že aj po väčšej záťaži síce bolo trochu vlhké ale vôbec nechladilo a za krátky čas aj uschlo. Určite ešte objednám aj nohavice tejto značky. Veľkosť je trošku väčšia ako som zvyknutá, ale v pohode.

Používal som ho celú zimu aj v práci. Mám manuálnu prácu. A spokojnosť. Nepáchne ani po viacerých dňoch nosenie je príjemné na dotyk a spĺňa čo Merino sľubuje. Je však vhodnejšie do chladnejších dní.
