Tank top knitted from thick woolen mesh. The mesh is elastic, so it does not restrict movement. The structure of the knitwear has fewer contact points with the skin, so an additional insulating thin layer of air is created between the tank top and the body and also in the knitwear itself. The tank top is entirely made of mesh material, which is supposed to ensure greater breathability, quick drying and drainage of sweat from the body.
We can use it for alpine hiking, skiing, ski alpinism, climbing, cycling, ultramarathons or even for sleeping. It performs its service reliably as the first layer directly on the body. Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
