Update after 4 months (i.e. after about 2 months of use, since it's winter):
The basket is cracked again. The bike was not transported in a car or dropped. I noticed it when installing the AirTag holder (so this could not have been the cause either).
I definitely do not recommend this model and will not buy it again. I know people who have no problems holding this basket.

September 2024: My basket broke while riding on "porous" asphalt after about a year of use on a road bike. I can't say 100% what the reason was (I didn't fall, but I transported the bike in the car a few times).
It does rub against the bottles, but it holds them well and they are easy to remove and put back in.
I especially appreciate the design and lightweight material.
The price is on the higher side in my opinion, but if it doesn't break again, it's a negligible one-time investment.
