The book is intended primarily for hikers and follows on from the hiking circuits or ridges from this series. The most attractive tourist areas in Slovakia are the Tatras and the Low Tatras, and hikers can find 11 transition routes from these mountains in the book. The Slovak Paradise, Malá Fatra and Veľká Fatra, which are represented by four routes, are of particular interest to hiking lovers. The remaining ten trips are from various (even lesser-known) mountains of Slovakia. They introduce you to places that are perhaps not so visited, but which are real tourist delicacies. In addition to the basic description of each route, this book also contains interesting facts related to the individual places through which the trip passes. As a matter of course, there are height profiles, cut-outs of maps with the course of the route and detailed practical information on time schedules, ascents, descents and difficulty levels.
