A new generation of Edge 1040 cycle computers for all demanding cyclists. Thanks to the equipment and the new type of GPS multi-band GNSS receiver, the use and recording of the route (data) will be even more reliable wherever you are.

The Edge 1040 is based on the established equipment of older model series and also brings a number of improvements, including extended battery life and new refined functions of physiological metrics: Real-time Stamina and Power Guide.

With the Edge 1040 Plus, you'll always be ready to ride immediately, without unnecessary adjustments. Mainly thanks to the new sophisticated management of settings and data management with detailed data display settings depending on the type of activity (road cycling, MTB, indoor, etc.), connected sensors and also based on popularity. It doesn't matter what type of cycling you prefer, the Edge 1040 will add value to every ride.

Real-time Stamina allows you to monitor your level of exhaustion in real time
POWER GUIDE will provide a better insight into the achieved and achievable performance targets (W) with a connected wattmeter
High standard of equipment with a colour touch screen that supports operation even with gloves
Training effect for measuring the pull (effect) during training in the anaerobic and aerobic pulse zones
Performance condition is based on the measurement of heart rate variability and performance
Training status - updated indicators based on long-term measurements when using a cycle computer
Training load - analysis of your activities for the last 7 days
When riding off-road, it records the total number of jumps, jump distance and also the associated Hangtime
The Grit metric will measure the difficulty of each ride
The Flow metric takes care of monitoring the smoothness of the descent and then evaluates the ride with a point score that you can try to improve on the next ride
The barometric altimeter will ensure that the data is shown on the display more accurately than ever before. You can view total ascent, descent, height or elevation.
Edge 1040 is equipped with an incident detection function, which is activated e.g. when falling from a bicycle
