Yakima S44 wing-shaped roof racks have minimal aerodynamic drag, ensuring they are completely silent at any vehicle speed and have virtually no impact on fuel consumption. These carriers are placed between the longitudinal roof rails, minimally increasing the overall height of the car. This makes them an ideal solution for drivers who need to maintain a low ground clearance, for example when entering a garage. The carriers are suitable for year-round use, do not disrupt the appearance of the vehicle, and you will practically not know about them while driving.
A unique feature is the T-slot for mounting accessories, which is covered on the inside and remains covered along its entire length, regardless of whether accessories are mounted on the racks. This prevents the unpleasant squeaking that can occur when driving with an uncovered T-slot. Mounting and dismounting the carriers is very easy. The only tool needed is an Allen key, which is cleverly hidden right in the carrier's foot, so you always have it at hand. The Yakima S44 does not require any additional mounting kit.
