A unique feature of the Thule EasyFold XT 2 bike carrier is that its assembly and disassembly on the tow ball can be done in a folded state, thanks to which you can access the carrier much more conveniently from the side, instead of from the back.
The folding mechanism of the Thule EasyFold XT 2 carrier is controlled using an intelligent foot pedal, which leaves your hands free to hold the bikes during folding. In this way, you can easily reach the luggage compartment even with bicycles mounted on the carrier.
Thanks to better access and an adjustable connection operated with one hand, without the need to use more force, you can mount the carrier on the towing device in a matter of seconds.
You can fasten the bikes to the rack easily thanks to the removable frame holders equipped with lockable rosettes with the Thule AcuTight torque limiter, which clicks when the bike is optimally tightened. The holders are large enough to mount both round and oval frames (22-80 mm) and are equipped with a rubber surface to protect the bicycle frame.
To secure the bikes, you have separate locks for locking the bikes to the carrier and also a lock for locking the carrier to the tow ball.
Adjustable buckles with extra long straps allow for comfortable fixing of bicycles even with extra wide tires (up to 4.7 inches).
