The DT Swiss 240 Straightpull BOOST+ rear hub is a modern lightweight hub for demanding MTB use, built on a proven concept of easy service and high reliability. Thanks to Ratchet EXP technology, it uses fewer components, reducing weight and wear, while also allowing the bearings to be moved more towards the drive side. A larger bearing spacing increases hub stiffness, reduces bearing load and extends bearing life.  The hub body design effectively distributes driving and braking forces between both flanges and all spokes, reducing single-sided load peaks and protecting the hub, spokes and rim. The 36-tooth Ratchet EXP freewheel mechanism offers a very direct engagement and reliable power transfer to the drive. Smooth operation is ensured by industrial bearings with high-quality sealing. Thanks to the DT Swiss plug-in system, the hub can be disassembled and serviced within minutes if necessary.
