Aerodynamics
The aerodynamics of the frame play a key role and are behind it detailed testing in the wind tunnel and computer simulations. Thanks to this , the air resistance of the frame itself has been reduced by 16% compared to the previous generation Xelius SL, and this significant advantage brings the rider a saving of 15.8 W at a speed of 50 km/h.Carbon frame3D Tubular™ This is a unique and logical connection of the seat stays to the top frame tube far in front of the seat post. It leaves the seat tube free along its entire length and able to better dampen vibrations and provide the rider with the necessary comfort.
There are two types of frame on offer, which do not differ in shape but only in the choice of carbon fibers and the amount of resin. The elite frame marked UD SLI TEAM LIGHT with a weight of 790 g (size M before painting) is a privilege of the top models 10.0 and 11.0 (SE). The weight of the standard frame is 908 g.
Geometry
The most noticeable change in geometry is the 0.5° more vertical seatpost (74°). Shorter head tube with lower air resistance and longer reach for a more sporty,performance-focused ride. The range has also been expanded to include an XXL size for riders over 195 cm.Cockpit and components
