ALUXX aluminum frame and carbon fork The Contend AR is built on a modern and lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with internal bowden routing and an integrated seat post. ALUXX frames, manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy in our own factory, bring high stiffness and strength with low weight. For better damping of vibrations and thus reduction of hand fatigue, the bike is equipped with a carbon fork (the fork column is also carbon). High comfort The frame is designed to provide high comfort, even on roads with a worse surface. The D-Fuse carbon seat post also helps to increase comfort, which, thanks to its specific "D" shape, enables a slight "springing" and thus helps dampen vibrations. The Contend AR 1 model is also equipped with D-Fuse handlebars, which provide a slight spring in the downward direction, while providing high stiffness in the upper direction. Excellent handling Disc brakes provide strong stopping power and smooth modulation, which improves wheel control, even in variable weather. The brakes are fixed using modern flat mounts and 12 mm fixed axles ensure the necessary rigidity. Wider tires in size 32C (rim width 34 mm) are tubeless, which brings better driving characteristics and helps to reduce the risk of a puncture.
