100% wind protection with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® water protection and best-in-class breathability. With a light base layer it's good for mild temperatures, or with a thermal layer you can ride it below freezing. If you have just one jacket in your cycling wardrobe, this should be it. If you look carefully, the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket is essentially a long-sleeve version of the Gabba RoS 2. So it's just a warmer Gabba? Not really. The full sleeves fully turn it into a jacket, but one that covers a wide range of conditions. Like the Gabba, the RoS insignia signifies that it excels in dry conditions thanks to the high breathability, as well as in wet conditions thanks to the Castelli-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics. There's a light fleece-lined water-resistant version on the forward-facing surfaces and a lighter and stretchier fabric on the back that maximizes the breathability while providing excellent water repellency. The "2" part of the name refers to t he updates to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with both top and bottom openings for more adjustable ventilation. The reflectivity on the back is more visible, the seam at the top of the shoulder has been moved to the back, and the three pockets hold more gear. While the Perfetto remains decidedly a performance fit, the new model has a touch more room through the chest, shoulder, and biceps.
