Introducing the Pinarello F5 105 Di2 Most UltraFast Bicycle

Pinarello F5 105 Di2 Most UltraFast Etna Black Matt represents an uncompromising racing road bike (category Competition), developed with the clear goal of offering pure All-Round performance. This model, in an iconic, aggressive matte black design, inherits the winning DNA of the highest model lines and transforms it into a machine that excels equally on steep mountain climbs as it provides maximum stability and confidence at high speeds on descents. Designed for racers and ambitious riders, the bike offers an optimal combination of precise Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting, a premium carbon frame, and top-tier MOST Ultrafast carbon wheelset.

Key Features

  • Di2 Electronic Precision: The wireless Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed groupset provides instant, smooth, and completely precise shifting even under the most demanding load.
  • MOST Carbon Wheels: The high-profile MOST Ultrafast 45 DB carbon wheelset guarantees excellent aerodynamic properties, stiffness, and rapid power transfer.
  • Competition Geometry: Years of proven Competition Geometry distilled from dozens of Grand Tour victories for perfect handling.
  • Full Cable Integration: The advanced E-TiCR system for completely hidden cables and brake hoses, which significantly cleans up airflow in the front of the bike.
  • Hydraulic Confidence: Shimano 105 dual-piston disc brakes with 160mm rotors offer uncompromising braking performance in all weather conditions.

Usage and Purpose

This machine is built for race circuits, demanding cycling criteriums, performance training sessions, and marathons where uncompromising power transfer is required. The bike's geometry places the rider in an aerodynamic and aggressive racing position that minimizes frontal wind resistance. As a pure All-Rounder, the Pinarello F5 is the ideal choice for cyclists looking for a single versatile bike capable of winning mountain stages and simultaneously dominating flat bunch sprints.

Advanced Technologies and Materials

  • TorayCa T700 UD Carbon: The carbon fiber selected for the F5 frameset offers a precisely balanced ratio between reactivity (bottom bracket stiffness), road shock absorption capability, and low weight.
  • Onda Fork: Pinarello's legendary, signature front fork technology (since 2000). The latest streamlined fork design (with a 47mm offset) dramatically improves aerodynamics, stability, and steering precision on steep descents.
  • Asymmetric Frame Pinarello F: Pinarello engineers were the first to define that the forces acting on the frame during pedaling are asymmetric, as the chain pull acts exclusively on the right side of the bike. The F5 frame therefore has a reinforced right side of the tubes to perfectly compensate for these uneven forces.
  • E-TiCR Headset: Innovative elliptical construction of the fork steerer and headset. It allows for a tapered frame head tube and moves internal cable routing from the sides directly in front of the fork steerer for maximum watt savings.
  • Downtube & Aero Keel: New shaping and reduced thickness of the downtube designed to reduce air resistance around the cycling bottles.

Each Pinarello bicycle model has a different geometry and its own size chart, which can be found for the given model on the manufacturer's website.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
