GOBIK Drag Shoe Covers
Aero shoe covers are high-performance aerodynamic covers developed to optimize one of the areas most exposed to airflow during pedaling: the unit formed by the foot, ankle, and shin.Designed for time trials and high-speed races. They use a hybrid textile construction that acts differently in the most critical areas in terms of aerodynamics. Their goal is to reduce turbulence generated around the shoe and promote cleaner, more efficient airflow.
The cuff has a dual-layer construction, combining a three-dimensional textured fabric on the inside with a smooth outer fabric. This system helps improve airflow stability in the key area, especially in aggressive riding positions and at high speeds.
The lower part, designed to cover the shoe, is made of a smooth fabric coated with polyurethane, chosen for its ability to create a uniform outer surface. By covering elements such as BOA dials, Velcro, laces, or the shoe's own ventilation holes, it helps reduce the air resistance associated with their irregular shape.
