The second generation of this popular model builds on the success of its predecessor, but comes with a refined shape, lower weight, and an even better outsole for unmatched grip while walking. They are the ideal and reliable partner for every gravel or trail mission – from everyday riding through multi-day bikepacking trips to exploring the wilderness on an e-bike.
Product features
The Ergolace 2 model has an updated shape that is wider in the instep area. It provides more toe room and an overall looser fit, which dramatically increases comfort during long days in the saddle and when pushing the bike uphill.
The minimized upper material is made of a lightweight, yet extremely durable "ripstop" fabric. It dries quickly, is highly breathable, and doesn't add unnecessary bulk
Wide zones with polyurethane lamination, especially on the reinforced toe, protect your feet from impacts from stones and roots
Instead of a classic shoe tongue, they use a perforated Airprene construction that seamlessly wraps around the foot. This reduces pressure on the instep and maximizes moisture wicking.
Practical lacing not only looks great but also ensures a firm yet non-constricting fit around the foot for ideal power transfer
The sole features a special Vibram Megagrip compound with a zoned tread pattern, ensuring extreme traction on loose, wet or uneven terrain.
The redesigned insole with a stiffness index of 5 provides excellent pedaling efficiency, yet retains sufficient flexibility for natural and comfortable walking
