The FOX 38 Factory GripX2 29" MY27 is a next-generation, premium enduro and all-mountain fork designed for maximum sensitivity, control and consistent performance in the most demanding terrain. It builds on the success of the previous generation, but instead of further increasing stiffness, it delivers a significant reduction in friction, smoother running and better response under load. It takes key technologies from the new FOX 40 downhill fork and transforms them into a package for aggressive riding.

The new GlideCore air spring with both horizontal and vertical compliance minimizes internal friction and increases sensitivity to small bumps. Generatively designed lower legs with increased bushing overlap reduce friction under side loads and contribute to longer service intervals. The integrated MCU Bottom-Out Bumper ensures a smooth, progressive end of the stroke, giving the fork a "bottomless" feel even on hard impacts.

The updated GripX2 shock cartridge provides very precise compression control and stability in steep and broken passages, while improved bleed valves allow for rapid pressure equalization during temperature and altitude changes. The new shape of the bridge and lower legs optimizes stiffness without unnecessary stiffness, which improves the bike's handling. The fork is prepared for fender mounting and also offers a specific mount for the ABS sensor.
