Is the Ventral wider than the Octal in the same size? For example, I get a 56cm head circumference, but it squeezes on the sides. So does the Ventral have at least a little more room on the sides of the head?

Dobry den, skor naopak, Ventral je o nieco subtilnejsia ako model Octal.
Samozrejme, prilby vzdy idealne vyskusat - okrem obvodu a priemeru hlavy tam zavazi aj jej specificky tvar (priehyb lebky, tvar temena..) a ten ma kazdy z nas iny.

zial to naozaj tazko odhadnut - okrem samotneho obvodu hlavy rozhoduje o spravnom fittingu aj tvar lebky, priehyb temena, vyska cela a i. Helmu je naozaj najistejsie vzdy len vyskusat - ak sa rozhodnete ju objednat a nesadla by idealne (urcite nesmie nikde tlacit, prip. byt volna a pod.), tak ju samozrejme nie je problem vratit - https://www.mtbiker.sk/shop/informacie/vsetko-o-nakupe.html.
Vo vseobecnosti pri tomto konkretnom modely - ma 54 cm hlavu mozno kludne aj skor S-ko, pre jazdu v zimnom obdobi a pouzitie capicky/satky pod helmou vsak potom uz M-ko.
