I consider the information about turns to be successful, in addition to the pop-up notification at the bottom of the display, which is colored dark, proportional to the distance to the turn, the scrolling arrows at the top also show the change of direction. The pop-up notifications could have different colors depending on the turn, which would also perhaps improve awareness, currently the turn notifications have the same color. The route is very easy to see. When I turned on the distance notifications every 10 km, this notification covered the information about the turn and I had to turn it off. I think it would be enough to be on for about 20 seconds and then it could turn off automatically, because it is not always possible to pay attention to navigation while driving. So I turned it off.
The navigation can work with routes in gpx format, after about two days of trying, I managed to upload such a route to the device, and after saving the ride, it saves the data to an email. The route arrows in the navigation have different colors, I was unable to figure out the meaning of the color difference.
When it comes to pairing third-party devices, I paired Garmin radars, I can't say that the radar paired right away, I only managed to do that the first time. After pairing, a bar with a car icon appears and also on the top bar, it can be set to the left or right side of the navigation, an approaching car is shown by the car icon.
I was unable to set the display to turn on before a turn and then turn off again. Such a mode would probably also save some energy, but I'm not sure if it's possible to set it.
It happened that during the ride it was necessary to restart the device, such a stressful situation for some the device handled it without any problems and was able to restore all the data about the route traveled. Even after the restart, the radar, which had previously refused any attempts to connect, automatically started up.
Conclusion – I think the device has decent potential but the manufacturer needs to work on it. It seems a bit unfinished to me so far and I admit that at first I was surprised that the manufacturer released it to the market in this condition. However, I am not an expert to be able to assess it more professionally.
