All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

I didn't really want to write a review, but I decided to do it hoping someone from CTM would read this review. To start, I'll say that I've had the bike for 3 months and have ridden about 800km.

I'm wondering where to start...
As @Papaccos wrote earlier, I am also a fan of CTM and this is my third bike from this brand (I had an even older Caliber and I currently ride a Skaut 3.0, model year 2022 with several modifications or component upgrades).

But back to Koyuk, which I was really, really looking forward to.
The 3.0 version was the obvious choice, especially because of the 1x12 drivetrain.
With my height of 195cm, I took size 600.

Already in the MTBiker store in BA, where I tried out and received the bike, I was a little surprised by the aforementioned missing caps on the frame holes. A detail, but it's a shame that CTMko didn't care about it... The second thing that bothered me were the missing screws on the fork. Out of 6 (3 on each side), 2 were missing. It looked really strange...
Silver plastic plugs on the rams... a bit of a step too far... I immediately replaced them with BBB BHT-96 ScrewOn. The same goes for the wrap over time...
The derailleur cable was so long that it was cutting into the cable itself while riding and shifting... Again, it's just a visual aspect, but it's not pleasing on a new bike...
These are just visual flaws that can be easily fixed and we move on...

It was worse with the bike itself in operation before all the adjustments and fine-tuning after the first kilometers...
Unfortunately, I have to say that despite the fact that this is the highest level of gravel from CTM, the preparation from the "factory" is disastrous.
A dry seatpost, a dry stem, dry everything you can imagine... and most importantly (and I didn't expect this) a completely dry "head" - a chapter in itself...

For the first 100-150 km, you won't notice any problems, but as you drive further, you'll start to hear noises, popping, creaking, and everything else you don't want to hear while driving.
All removable things so I started the service. I replaced the bottom bracket with Shimano Ultegra SM-BBR60, adjusted and lubricated what was needed. All contact surfaces as well as threaded joints... But what I didn't think about, that is, it didn't even occur to me that I should disassemble and check the headset...

Since the cracking and "grunting" when pedaling didn't stop, and I couldn't help myself anymore, I took the bike to the guys at MTBiker for a checkup.
I'll cut it short... after 3 services (including warranty) and a 100€ bill, the guys finally found the cause, which was the aforementioned headset... It's incomprehensible to me that such a part of the bike was left untreated when assembled... A big shame and a defect that cost me quite a bit of money. The guys from the service were also shaking their heads... The dry headset was causing all those rattling and cracking noises to be transmitted through the frame to the drivetrain, and we were looking for the problem somewhere "down there" the whole time.
Anyway, equipped and for me a good service experience, that even a new bike has such shortcomings...

The geometry suits me and I feel very good on the bike. Especially after the bike fitting, which was conducted by Matej from the BA store, for which I thank you very much. It was a great experience, valuable advice and a lot of interesting information.

After all the shortcomings have been fixed, Koyuk is an excellent partner both on field and forest roads and on asphalt, where I have ridden it the most so far.
The components are really high quality and in the higher range, which I believe will also be reflected in the service life (of course, with regular maintenance).
Despite the fact that it is not a premium brand or model, it is certainly an excellent entry into the world of gravel and partly road cycling...

My overall rating of 3/5 is mainly due to the "readiness" of the bike and the unfinished details, which are really a matter of a better approach and willingness to give the customer the best that CTM has to offer in a given segment.

I believe that CTM will pay more attention to how their bikes are delivered to the customer.

SK Podpisujem všetko čo si napísal. Doslova nič nebolo namazané. 2 skrutky na vidlici chýbajú aj mne. Úchyty na fľaše taktiež nechápem, prečo tak vysoko? Mne dokonca dali aj reťaz opačne. V servise som minul ďalších 150€. Očividne sa tomu v CTM vôbec nevenujú ako čítam recenzie, z toho som dosť sklamaný. Mám za sebou 1000km a s bajkom som spokojný, ale treba ho teda po kúpe dať do poriadku. Takže treba počítať ešte s ďalšou investíciou.

The bike is reliable, well equipped, the GRX kit works as it should, the Fizik seat has a good shape and is comfortable, the FSA rams 440 mm are sufficient. I just replaced the plastic ones with Tufo Thundero 44HD. I'll change the wrap on the rams. There's only a 1mm thick base. I sealed the holes in the frame with tape. I've ridden more than 1000km on the bike. I've tested its limits both off-road and on the road. Its characteristic feature could be primarily stability and comfortable seating. I would call it a gravel bike. I am satisfied with it and it suits my riding style. I have a size 580. I am 186cm tall.

From the moment I started riding (I've ridden over 500 km in 3 months now) I expected it to be a big difference in speed. BUT IT WASN'T. My fault, I had underinflated inner tubes, about 1.4 bar, I only found out after the warranty, when I managed to cut the inner tube on the curb. When I put the new one on, I also checked the other wheel and it was 1.4 bar. I thought that I didn't have to check anything after the warranty (I was wrong). I inflated the inner tubes, cleaned them, lubricated the bike and the Strava app started showing new PRs (personal records). Wow, great.
Also, before the warranty, my front brake was not braking well, it vibrated and here and there I could hear a crackling sound from the front wheel. After the warranty, the brake continued to vibrate, but I took it as something that must have simply been worn out – it braked ok, and also that the frame must have simply settled down since it was cracking a little from the beginning. I never had anything like that with my old bike.
After about 200 km, however, the bike started to make an unpleasant noise at regular intervals, I didn't know if it was the headset, the bottom bracket, the cranks, or what. It just seemed to me that it was coming from the front. A colleague at work (an experienced biker) advised me not to try to repair anything there, that I should take it to mtbiker under warranty.
I brought the bike to mt biker Banská Bystrica with the fact that something in the front was still cracking and the front disc was still vibrating. I came back to pick it up a week later.
To sum it up, the front disc continues to vibrate, the popping hasn't stopped (it's noticeable when going uphill under load). I expected more from Fungel for a new bike (I bought it at the end of April, it's now July), that's why I gave it 2 stars. But it rides great, it's beautiful and I'm very happy with the geometry.
However, I'm desperate because something is breaking inside and the brake is completely useless. When I brake at 50-60 km/h, I can really feel it.
So I don't know if the "comrades" made a mistake somewhere in the CTM, but since I bought it, I'm only dealing with the bike. So I bought a new bike, which was probably never new.

ako idealna sa javi velkost 560, ak mate k danej vyske proporcne dlhsie nohy, tak mozno by sadla aj 580tka - zalezi to samozrejme aj od osobnych preferencii na posed (sportovejsi/komfortnejsi).

Nedostatky - zial rad by som povedal, ze ano, ale vsetko zalezi od kontroly na strane vyrobcu, samozrejme radi sa pred vyexpedovanim na konkretny kus ktory si vyberiete pozrieme (prip. to len vyznacte do poznamky k objednavke), prip. ak si pridete bicykel vyzdvihnut osobne, tak Vam radi pomozeme aj priamo na predajni, pripadne mozeme vsetko spolocne skontrolovat, na bicykel si mozete sadnut, prip. ak by nevyhovovala aj spominana omotavka, tak to nie je problem vsetko doladit, radi pomozeme aj s nastavenim posedu a pod.
