Pirelli Scorpion Race DH T 27.5x2.50" DualWALL SmartEVO DH tyre, TLR, kevlar, yellow label
Pirelli Scorpion Race DH T 27.5x2.50" DualWALL SmartEVO DH Tire
Scorpion™ Race DH T is named for its traction, whether accelerating, braking, or cornering. The central part of the tire has special knobs that increase traction in every phase of the tire's rotation. The central knob is also pre-shaped to be cut off for better mud shedding in mixed conditions, especially for front wheel use. The super-soft SmartEVO DH compound is combined with large knobs for optimal grip on all types of terrain without compromising the overall stability of the tire thanks to a stiffer base compound. The DualWall+ construction is specific to downhill and consists of a double-layer carcass with a fiber density of 60 TPI, reinforced with a cut-resistant sidewall insert and a rubber liner. This structure provides excellent protection against cuts and punctures while absorbing small vibrations and large impacts.Use:
- Dry terrain: mixed, softer on hardpack, berms, hardpack, loamy and sandy
- Wet terrain: slippery hardpack, mixed - wet roots, edge wet rocks, wet softpack

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
