WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. It may cause the product not to operate correctly, and you may suddenly fall and be severely injured.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the wheels are not securely fastened, you may fall off the bicycle, which may lead to serious injury.
- Use the proper air pressure indicated on the tire and rim. When the maximum air pressure is indicated on the tire and rim, do not exceed the lower value.
- WH-MT601-TL: maximum pressure = 3 bar / 44 psi / 300 kPa. Higher pressure than indicated may cause the tire to suddenly burst and/or the tire to suddenly come off, which may cause serious injury.
- Before riding the bicycle, check the wheel axle for cracks, and do not use the bicycle if you find a problem. This wheel is not designed for downhill bicycle riding or freeriding. Depending on the riding conditions, cracks may occur in the wheel axle. This may cause the axle to break and an accident, which may lead to serious injury or even death.
- Before riding the bicycle, check the wheels for broken or loose spokes and nipples, and for damage or cracks on the rim surface. If you find any of these signs, do not use the bicycle. Otherwise, the wheels may be damaged, which may cause you to fall. Also check for signs such as carbon peeling and cracks.
- Do not use with rim brake wheels. These wheels are designed exclusively for use with disc brakes. They do not support rim brakes.
- Check that the axle release lever does not interfere with the disc brake rotor even when fully engaged. If the axle release lever is on the disc brake rotor side, it may interfere with the disc brake rotor, which is dangerous. If it interferes with the disc brake rotor, stop using it immediately and consult the place of purchase or a distributor.
Disc brake rotor
- Check the method of using the axle release lever. Incorrect use of the axle release lever may cause the wheel to come off, etc., and may lead to serious injury.
- These wheels can only be used in combination with a special front fork or E-THRU. Combinations with another front fork or hub axle may cause the wheel to come off during bicycle riding and lead to serious injury.
- When attaching the front wheel to the front fork, follow the instructions in the front fork's instruction manual. Depending on the type of front fork used, the securing method and tightening torque for the front wheel may differ. Incorrect handling may cause the front wheel to come off and lead to serious injury.
CAUTION
- When using a puncture repair agent, consult the place of purchase or a distributor.
- If you will be using a Tubeless Ready tire that must be used in conjunction with sealant, use a sealant that is recommended by the tire manufacturer.
Break-in period
- Disc brakes have a break-in period, and the braking force gradually increases as the break-in period continues. Be sure to avoid any such sudden increases in braking force during use of the brakes during the break-in period. The same thing happens when the brake pads or rotor are replaced.
