Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST road wheels 2019
Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST are road wheels for classic rim brakes and with UST tubeless tires. Many original Mavic technologies help you to get the most out of them.
UST - tubeless rim design is key to the possibility of using wider and durable tires, which can be inflated to lower pressures, which achieves greater comfort, but at the same time does not lose low rolling and resistance and with it speed.
The unique rims are asymmetrical from the original Maxtal alum machined with ISM 4D technology for maximum weight reduction while maintaining sufficient rigidity.
The internal width is 17 mm, which provides ideal support for wider road tires. The height of the rims is 22 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear. The joint of the rims is welded by the SUP method. Thanks to Fore drilling a hole for the nipple, where only the outer wall of the rim is drilled, into which the thread for the nipple is then cut, there is no need to use rim tape for tubeless use! The wheel hubs are aluminum with a direct spoke attachment and rotate on QRM + industrial bearings with the possibility of adjustment using a wrench, which is included in the package.
Steel nut FTS-L ensuring maximum reliability and at the same time low weight. Compatible for Shimano / Sram 8/9/10/11 cartridges.
The string is made of steel flat spikes on the front wheel radially and on the rear wheel of the Isopulse type. Yksion Pro UST tires are directly part of the wheels and have a width of 25 mm, 127 TPI, Kevlar heel, 11 Storm single compound and UST tubeless design.
