Mavic Crossmax XL 29" wheel set

Crossmax XL are perfect braided wheels with a reinforced aluminum rim for riding in demanding technical terrain, yet light enough for sharp mountain climbs, the triangular shape of the rim can absorb strong impacts, so nothing will throw you off in an aggressive descent. The base is a rim with an inner width of 30 mm, it is optimized for lower tire pressure and is ideally combined with tires with a width from 2.3" to 2.6".
The wide and solid rim treated with Black Shield surface treatment can withstand impacts and scratches. Fore technology without the need to use rim tape is a matter of course. 24 tension-weakened wires ensure excellent lateral stiffness and vertical flexibility. Crossmax wheels are equipped with solid axles - 15x110 mm in front and 12x148 mm in the back.
