Giant XCR1 30 TUBELESS DISC BRAKE rear wheel
The XCR 1 30 braided wheels are high-end and very light wheels (1456 g) designed for performance and racing XC or downcountry. The ultra-light and at the same time highly strong and durable carbon rims have a hookless design, which increases the overall durability of the rims and also allows for a larger inner width (30 mm) without increasing the weight.
PROPERTIES
- hookless carbon rims for higher overall rim resistance (thanks to improved consistency of the carbon structure) and greater internal width without increasing weight
- the reinforcement of the rim base extends the upper part of the sidewalls of the rim to 3.5 mm, for a better distribution of the force from impacts, which increases the overall strength and durability of the rims
- the optimized distribution of the carbon layers includes carbon fibers with high tensile strength located at the most important structural points - the result is an exceptionally strong rim structure without increasing weight
- Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology ensures that the wires are set to optimal tension during engagement, which brings increased wheel stiffness and thus a higher efficiency of your power transmission
- the larger inner width is ideal for the use of wider tires, which are common on XC wheels today, for better traction and stability in difficult terrain

Giant Tubeless System: rims are tubeless (tape and valves are part of the set)
Hubs: DT Swiss 350, precision internal components, encapsulated bearings, rear hub has a 54T ratchet system. The rear hub is supplied with SRAM XD nuts and is compatible with Shimano Micro Spline and Shimano HG, centerlock discs. Hubs are designed for Boost fixed axle: front 110x15 mm, rear 148x12 mm
Spokes : SAPIM Laser, Straight Pull, 24 wires in the front, 28 in the back, DBL technology, Alloy Secure Lock nipples (black)
