Cross country has moved in a new direction, significantly rougher than we are used to. Artificial obstacles on the tracks bring new demands not only on riders but also on rims.

  • When cornering over man-made barriers, you need a wide rim to get better tire support, which leads to higher cornering speeds. At the same time, the rim must be really light for good acceleration. And that's why we at DT Swiss developed the X 432 rim.
  • The DT Swiss rim is clincher, made of aluminum alloy and is suitable for XC and marathon.
  • It is offered in two diameters, 29" and 27.5", each with a height of 19.5 mm and an internal width of 25 mm. The rim has a load capacity of 110 kg, a hole for a tire valve and is of course also suitable for tubeless use.
