Newmen Advanced Carbon SL XA25 29" MTB rim, 28 holes
Carbon rim ADVANCED SL XA25 - minimum weight, maximum performance. NEWMEN Advanced SL XA25 and XA30 carbon rims are the successors of our proven Advanced SL X.22 rim.
We set out to create XC wheels that are as fast as possible while maintaining a reasonable price. An important factor in chasing seconds is the width of the rim.
Correct rim width is necessary to ensure low tire pressure. This enables maximum grip with minimal rolling resistance and a reduced risk of hitting the rim. Our testing concluded that for XC purposes the 25mm internal width is ideal for tires up to 2.2" and the 30mm rims are ideal for tires 2.25" and up. By optimizing the wall thickness around the entire rim profile, we managed to achieve a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The high resistance of the rim flanges allows use even on light trail bikes.
The shallow rim profile provides comfort and grip while maintaining quick acceleration and response.
