The DT Swiss 240 S Ratchet DEG hubs represent a limited anniversary edition that celebrates 30 years of the DT Swiss brand. These hubs are characterized by an exclusive polished design and a completely new Ratchet DEG engagement system with 90 teeth, which offers a minimum engagement angle of only 4º. This ensures immediate response and excellent acceleration, especially in technically demanding exits and descents.
The innovative system of two enlarged DEG teeth provides extremely reliable and robust engagement thanks to a larger contact surface and a more even load distribution. The increased sensitivity of the engagement reduces the delay when pedaling, which will be appreciated especially by All Mountain and Enduro riders who need precise control of the bike in complex off-road passages.
The hubs are only available in the classic version with a flange for curved spokes, variants with 32 holes, and in BOOST widths of 148 mm. They are compatible with Shimano Microspline and SRAM XD cassettes. The design enables easy maintenance and replacement of bearings without the need to dismantle the threaded ring.
